Description
Moonflame is a one-of-a-kind dress crafted from a vintage European jacquard, likely woven in France or Italy in the late twentieth century and later embraced in Moroccan ceremonial tailoring. The fabric, rich in deep crimson tones with black and gold floral accents, offers structure and depth while remaining fluid in movement.
Traditional hand-braided sfifa is preserved at the shoulders to hold and frame the silhouette, while the central closure is reimagined with an ultra-fine crochet construction, creating a dialogue between two ancestral techniques. The elongated cut and central slit allow the dress to move with ease and presence.
Balancing fire and shadow, Moonflame reflects a meeting of origins and craftsmanship, where imported textiles are transformed through Moroccan artisanal language into a contemporary expression of strength and elegance.
