The over-top preserves the integrity of the original garment, maintained in its authentic Moroccan cut and framed with vintage sfifa, a quiet tribute to the hands that shaped it decades ago.
From the remaining preserved panels, SHAMS & KAMAR reimagined a contemporary three-piece ensemble. The cropped top isolates the vibrancy of the floral weave, sculpted into a structured modern silhouette that contrasts with the fluidity of the over-top. The skirt is formed from restored lower sections of the same textile, refined into a clean architectural line that anchors the composition with clarity. Together, the pieces create a dialogue between continuity and reinvention, heritage carried in the over-top, transformation expressed through the separates, unity achieved through the shared textile, and preserved sfifa.
