Description
Sol d’Or is a two-piece ensemble crafted from a vintage gold floral brocade sourced in Tetouan, a textile once reserved for ceremonial garments and treasured family occasions. Its surface reveals a quiet dialogue between matte woven florals and soft metallic shimmer, shifting gently as it catches the light.
Every original motif and embroidery has been preserved with intention, allowing the fabric’s history to remain visible within its renewed silhouette. The top is framed with intricately embroidered sleeves and finished with hand-made Moroccan sfifa, while a mjdoul at the waist introduces subtle structure and balance.
To complete the composition, a long silk skirt in soft champagne gold was designed to accompany the brocade without competing with its richness. Together, the layers create luminosity without excess.
Sol d’Or is a contemporary expression of heritage, shaped slowly, created once, and aligned with the sunlit identity of SHAMS & KAMAR.
