Sol d’Or is a two piece ensemble crafted from a vintage gold floral brocade sourced in Tetouan, a textile once reserved for ceremonial garments and treasured family occasions. Its surface carries a quiet interplay between matte woven florals and soft metallic shimmer, shifting gently as it catches the light. Every original motif and embroidery is preserved, allowing the fabric’s history to remain present in its new form.
The top is framed with intricate embroidered sleeves and finished with hand-made Moroccan sfifa, while a mjdoul at the waist offers subtle structure and shape. To complete the silhouette, a long silk skirt in soft champagne gold was added, designed to complement the brocade without competing with its details.
Light, fluid, and effortlessly luminous, Sol d’Or is a modern interpretation of heritage — shaped slowly, created once, and aligned with the sunlit identity of SHAMS & KAMAR. A soft radiance reborn.
